Interesting that you thought robo cop (Bubby Fales) portrayed the roll of Ori accordingly. 1st of all every time Fales would enter the set he would walk in stiff as a board with his fists balled up, and his fists remained balled up throughout the entire play (hence the nickname robo cop) I also found it impossible to understand how he is a soilder in any way. He seemed a bit boyish and not like a tough soilder who ran away from home, and has been through such tradgies such as his mothers death. The roll of Ori was very pooly cast and made it seem as if no one else auditioned for the part. Feldman on the other hand fit his role perfectly. Already being jewish alls he needed to do was fill in the character which he did well. He made a great father figure to Mehira, and everything was great from the way he spoke to the way he moved. I coulnt have pictured a better Menachem. Libby (McMillien) also did a good job portraying her character and the chemistry between her and Mehira (McBryde) was flawless, unlike that of Mehira and Ori. McBryde and McMillen played the roles of best friends and showed that by all their little movements. Sorah (Ducker) i believed to be a horrible actress. She simply was not acting, enough said... The entire play over all would have recieved and excellent rating by me had it been better cast. Two roles that would need to be recast if there were to be a remake of this is, Ori's role and Sorah's. Soilder whose mother died in a bus that was blown up, and left home when he was 18 to live on his own would be a little more tough than what Fales made it to be. Balling up your fists throughout the entire play doesn't make you a tough guy. His haircut didn't make him a soilder. The idea of the play and the story was great good emotional play, i just wish that some of the acotrs could have portrayed their roles a little better.
