my xmas gift cd, w/ new year’s theme

Hi guys.  My “crowd” is turning 50 this year.  My xmas gift to them will be a new year’s eve CD mix.  Do you have any great ideas?  My theme is simply  ”songs about the night” so the first song will be “Werewolves of London.”  I want the definitive, alll-time best loosely-themed  ”special night”  CD.  Any ideas would be appreciated.
