I know I’m coming late to your game. I apologize.

But — I have recently made it my business to scour the Web for any and all mentions of Rory Gallagher. (Guess I’m looking for the beginnings of a true and fair biography of Rory.)

Thus, I’ve just read Meade’s review of Wheels. It’s a fine and well-considered piece. Many reviews of Gallagher’s work are either slack-jawed fan jobs, or overly critical jeremiads. Paul Meade hits it just right.
