Rush: “72% of American people…a bunch of blithering idiots”

The “wisdom” of Rush Limbaugh:

“In fact, USA Today’s got a poll: “Do you think something’s wrong about the firing of eight US attorneys?” 72% said yes. 72% of the American people, a bunch of blithering idiots who have no idea what they’re talking about, but yet they voted, so these polls matter, “72%, yes, you need to look into this, this is horrible, this is rotten, 72% of the people say the American system is broken when these US attorneys can simply be fired by the president,” that is just an indication of so much ignorance out there, lack of civics education and what have you.”

Its called “obstruction of justice” Rush. You and Boortz seem to have a problem understanding that concept.

Maybe an explanation of what occured to Carol Lam will explain it for you. Or perhaps you should brush up on this bit of recent history. Last time a president attempted to make the Department of Justice a right-wing bully squad, he was ousted.

at its most basic, rush and hannity are correct. these attorneys serve at the pleasure of the president.
what happened, however, is less than basic. and not the spin rush and hannity are putting on the events.
