Why would a snapshot of two war criminals shaking hands be news? Well, check out the date- 1983.

What was Saddam executed for? Crimes that occured in 1982, deftly removing the possibility of provable American culpability ever rearing its embarrassing head in what passed for a court of law in Iraq.
