Majority Leader Pelosi has sent the contempt citations for Meirs and Bolten to U.S. Attorney of the District of Columbia Jeffrey Taylor. He is bound by law to send them to a grand jury, but AG Mukasey has stated that the Justice Department will not allow Taylor to comply.
