Ted Rall nails it: Mr. Obama: Resign Now

With Democrats Like Him, Who Needs Dictators?

MIAMI–We expected broken promises. But the gap between the soaring expectations that accompanied Barack Obama’s inauguration and his wretched performance is the broadest such chasm in recent historical memory. This guy makes Bill Clinton look like a paragon of integrity and follow-through.

Obama is cute. He is charming. But there is something rotten inside him. Unlike the Republicans who backed Bush, I won’t follow a terrible leader just because I voted for him. Obama has revealed himself. He is a monster, and he should remove himself from power.

Kudos, Mr. Rall.

Former Taxi Driver Rall (and stock trader – Rall’s done it all and is more important than most anyone else due to his life experiences) is one of a handfull of Americans that no one should pay attention to – ever.

“Unlike the Republicans who backed Bush, I won’t follow a terrible leader just because I voted for him. ” Rall forgets (conveniently – one of his trademarks) that there were plenty of Republicans who didn’t toe the line. They were, unlike Rall and his ilk, civilized in their criticism. Limbaugh didn’t toe the line, either, though he’s not all that civilized. Put Rall in a room with Rush and Ann Coulter and… you’ve got three Ted Ralls.

“This guy makes Bill Clinton look like a paragon of integrity and follow-through.”

…but why compare Obama to Clinton? Apples and oranges, different circumstances.

What President Obama is likely discovering is that the W Administration got it right more often than not concerning our foreign allies and enemies and thus, ooops, should’ve paid more attention while in the Senate – but it’s never too late to spin things around… As far as his campaign promises go, those who didn’t believe ‘em got it right, too. And those who aren’t surprised by his “dicatorial” actions (yeah, right, he’s a dictator, sure… just like W) got it right, too. The real fun will start next year when those yuppie liberals who voted for him get stuck with a tax bill they, gosh, didn’t think they’d get.

A monster? See, this exemplifies the America we live in. Everything is extreme. There’s a recesssion: it’s the worst – ever! Swine flu – we’re all going to die! President Obama – a monster of historical proportions! High gas prices – this is a crises! No, wait, it’s a good thing! And thus, pay no attention to the crazy man Ted Rall.

Uh dude? Got it right? 2 optional wars, Abu Grahib, 9/11? That’s “getting it right”?

You either need to stop, or start, increased medication.

  3. Ver Minn Says:

Yep, got it right on the wars; Abu Gharib wasn’t a W move as clearly indicated by the convictions of the guilty parties and the loss of a job to one Gen. Rick Sanchez. This was in all the papers, on the news, made Lyndie England a household word, turned in by fellow solders who recognized what was going on – during a single night, right away, etc. All pointing to an aberrational moment.

Obama’s getting it right, too, though his Secretary of State should be doing the job she’s capable of.

And when a near-as-genuine nut like Ted Rall calls for someone’s head, that Someone is doing a good job!

see, now you’re just funnin’ us…

An “aberrational moment” discussed in the white house, directed by cheney, administered at various locations around the planet.

Accept what this country did, fix it, and move on.

And the ONLY job our SoS should do is to call Israel, tell them we’re cutting off their allowance and they in the future should perhaps consider getting along with their neighbors instead of burying them alive. Then she can take the rest of the term off.
