Watched this amazing and inspiring movie recently – A Man Named Pearl, the story of Pearl Fryar, the South Carolinian who taught himself topiary and shut up those in the community who
worried that “blacks don’t keep up their yards”. He showed them, attracting world-wide acclaim for his living art.

Well worth the time.
